If you are coming from Charlottetown, take Highway 2 to the right hand turnoff at Highway 8 (Graham’s Road).  Drive through to New London and, at the stop sign, continue straight through onto Highway 20.  French River is located approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the New London corner.  Harbour Lights Cottages is located on the right hand side just past the intersection at bottom of the hill.

 

If you are coming from Summerside, take Highway 1A to Kensington.  After you pass through the stoplight, you will make a left turn just past Robert’s PetroCanada onto Highway 101 heading toward Irishtown and Park Corner.  Once you reach the “T” intersection at Park Corner, turn right onto Route 20.  French River is located approximately 7 kilometres (4 miles) from the Park Corner intersection.  Harbour Lights Cottages is located on the left hand side as you are driving downhill into the village.

 

If you are coming from the Confederation Bridge, once you exit the bridge, you will be on Highway 1.  This road splits into two lanes, one heading to Summerside (to the right) and one heading to Charlottetown (to the left).  Take the Summerside exit onto Highway 1A and drive through Middleton, Central Bedeque until you reach Highway 8 on your right.  Follow this highway through Freetown until you reach the “T” intersection at Highway 2 in Summerfield.  Turn left and immediately turn right back onto the continuation of Highway 8 through Graham’s Road.  Drive to the stop sign in New London where you will continue straight through onto Highway 20.  French River is located approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the New London corner.  Harbour Lights Cottages is located on the right hand side just past the intersection at the bottom of the hill.

 

If you are coming from the Wood Islands Ferry, exit left onto Highway 1 heading toward Charlottetown.  Once you cross over the Hillsborough Bridge between Stratford and Charlottetown, you will merge right at the first lights, continuing to follow Highway 1 along the outskirts of Charlottetown (the Arterial Highway) until you reach the intersection of Highway 1 and Highway 2 (Sears store on the right).  Just before the stoplights, merge right onto Highway 2 toward Winsloe and Hunter River.  Roughly 35 kilometres (21 miles) from the turn off in Charlottetown, you will turn right onto Highway 8 at the large white Summerfield Church.  Drive through to New London and, at the stop sign, continue straight through onto Highway 20.  French River is located approximately 8 kilometres (5 miles) from the New London corner.  Harbour Lights Cottages is located on the right hand side just past the intersection at bottom of the hill.
